Cyprus Airways to launch daily flights to London Stansted

Cyprus Airways announced the launch of a new year-round daily direct flight service connecting Larnaca International Airport to London Stansted (STN). The new route is scheduled to commence on April 23, 2027, aimed at addressing the strong demand from business and leisure travelers, as well as those visiting friends and family between Cyprus and the United Kingdom.

Thanos Pascalis, CEO of Cyprus Airways, highlighted that the UK remains one of the most vital markets for the airline. The service is expected to provide enhanced flexibility for passengers and improved access to central, northern, and eastern London, as well as the broader southeast England region. The airline operates a fleet of Airbus A320 and A220 aircraft and currently employs over 210 staff.

This expansion follows recent announcements by the airline regarding new year-round routes to Munich and Rome Fiumicino. The company maintains an established network with regular flights to destinations including Paris, Milan Malpensa, Athens, and Heraklion, alongside seasonal routes to locations such as Barcelona and Venice.
