APOEL reaches investment agreement with Savvas Liasis group
The APOEL association and the APOEL company have reached an agreement with an investment group led by Savvas Liasis, marking a significant development for the club's financial and administrative future. Representatives from all three parties met on Friday, October 23, 2026, to finalize the terms and overcome the final outstanding obstacles regarding the deal.
The agreement is now pending official confirmation and ratification. The next critical step involves holding General Assemblies for both the APOEL association and the company, where members and shareholders will be required to formally approve the deal. These meetings are expected to take place in November 2026.
This development follows a period of negotiations aimed at securing a fresh financial injection for the club. Once the General Assemblies provide their approval, the parties will proceed to sign the final documents, signaling a new era for the historic Cypriot sports club.
