Cyprus League football preview for October 25, 2026

On October 25, 2026, the seventh round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan features key matchups, including league leaders AEL Limassol facing Aris at the Alphamega Stadium, and APOEL hosting Omonia 29M at GSP Stadium. AEL, currently leading the league, aims for their fifth consecutive victory, despite managing eight absences including Stefano Denswil, Bruno Almeida, and others. The team expects strong support with approximately 7,000 fans in attendance.

APOEL, currently in seventh place with eight points, seeks a return to winning ways after a goalless draw against Paphos FC. Head coach Nikos Papadopoulos faces roster challenges; while Carrillo is confirmed out due to injury and Sastre and Stafylidis are suspended, players like Limnios, Mancini, and Vrontis have been included in the 23-man squad despite recent fitness doubts. APOEL remains undefeated at home this season and hopes to leverage its GSP advantage to narrow the seven-point gap to the league leaders. Omonia 29M, coming off a victory against Anorthosis, arrives with significant momentum, as their fans quickly sold out their allocation.
