On October 22, 2026, Greek television presenter Sakis Tanimanidis appeared on the program "Studio 3" to discuss his professional journey, focusing on the massive impact of his previous shows, "World Party" and "Survivor." During the interview, Tanimanidis admitted that the overwhelming success of these projects—particularly "Survivor," which achieved record-breaking television ratings of up to 75%—led him to develop a false sense of security regarding his career, a feeling he described as having the "Midas touch.

Reflecting on his experiences, the presenter noted that the three-year period hosting "Survivor," which involved 110 episodes consistently garnering 65% viewership, fundamentally altered his perspective. He explained how this intense period of fame made him believe that all his future television and business ventures would inevitably result in similar success. Tanimanidis emphasized that these experiences, while career-defining, also served as a lesson in the traps of fame, leading him to adopt a more grounded outlook on his professional trajectory today.
