Pafos FC faces criticism amid poor performance and calls for change

As of October 23, 2026, Pafos FC is facing mounting pressure and criticism from its fanbase due to a series of lackluster performances and underwhelming results. Reports from local media highlight significant tactical and operational weaknesses that have left supporters concerned about the team's trajectory this season.

The primary issues identified include a lack of efficiency in the attacking third, with the team struggling to secure a consistent goalscorer, and an unstable defensive structure that allows opponents to create dangerous chances too easily. Furthermore, questions have been raised regarding the effectiveness of recent transfer acquisitions and the management of muscular injuries affecting the squad. Coach Sa Pinto is now under pressure to identify immediate solutions to these recurring problems to improve the team's competitive standing.

While the club has not issued a formal statement on potential staff changes or roster adjustments, there is a clear demand for a swift reaction. The team's recent form has created an environment of urgency, as management and the coaching staff look to stabilize the squad's performance in upcoming fixtures.
