AEK Athens reaches 31-game unbeaten streak in Super League

AEK Athens, managed by Marko Nikolic, has reached a significant milestone by remaining undefeated for 31 consecutive matches in the Greek Super League. The team's last league defeat occurred on October 26, 2025, against Olympiacos. Since that match, AEK has secured 21 victories and 10 draws, a run that helped them win the 2025-2026 title and extended through the current season.

This accomplishment ties historical records set by the 1977-1978 team under Zlatko Cajkovski and a later squad coached by Dusan Bajevic. Beyond their league consistency, the team has demonstrated dominance at their home venue, the Allwyn Arena. In the current season, they have achieved seven consecutive home victories across all competitions, scoring 30 goals and conceding only once. Recent performances include a 5-0 win over Panetolikos in the domestic league and notable results in European and cup matches, such as victories against Levski Sofia, LASK Linz, and Panserraikos.

The club enters the anniversary of their last defeat maintaining both their league title defense and a strong presence in domestic and international competitions. The team is expected to continue its current form as they look to maintain their position at the top of the standings.
