Weekend cultural events in Cyprus

Cyprus hosts a series of cultural events spanning October 25 and 26, 2026, featuring music, theater, and cinema across Nicosia and Limassol. On Sunday, October 25, the PSI Foundation in Limassol presented the 'Songs of Longing' recital by soprano Christiana Aloneftis and pianist Marcelo Amaral, marking the conclusion of the 'Bill Viola. Unspoken' exhibition. Simultaneously in Nicosia, the 'Bending Time' multimedia performance was held at the Municipal Theatre Studio by Copper Curios.

On Monday, October 26, the cultural agenda continued with a film screening organized by the Film Friends Association at the Pantheon Cinema, featuring Asghar Farhadi's film 'Parallel Stories' starring Isabelle Huppert. Theatergoers in Nicosia could attend performances of Florian Zeller’s acclaimed play 'The Father' at the Dendro Theater, directed by Yiannis Leontaris and starring Stavros Louras. Additional performances of the play are scheduled for October 27, while various galleries in the capital continue to host contemporary art, painting, and installation exhibitions throughout the week.
