Elena Christopoulou files new lawsuit against Iliana Papageorgiou
Manager Elena Christopoulou has filed a new lawsuit against model and presenter Iliana Papageorgiou at the Single-Member Court of First Instance in Athens. The legal action seeks the recovery of unpaid fees related to television agreements negotiated by Christopoulou during their past professional collaboration. The amount claimed by the manager exceeds 150,000 euros.
This lawsuit adds a new layer to the long-standing legal conflict between the two women, who previously maintained a close professional and personal relationship. In addition to this civil claim, Papageorgiou is currently facing criminal charges for defamation following a complaint filed by Christopoulou. The criminal case, which stems from comments made by the model during an interview with Grigoris Arnaoutoglou, is scheduled for trial in November of next year.
The ongoing judicial dispute continues to attract significant media attention as both parties navigate multiple legal proceedings regarding their past financial arrangements and public statements. The court will now proceed with the civil litigation process while the criminal defamation trial remains on the judicial calendar for the following year.
