Legal battle escalates between Elena Christopoulou and Iliana Papageorgiou
A new legal chapter has opened in the ongoing dispute between talent manager Elena Christopoulou and model Iliana Papageorgiou. On October 25, 2026, it was reported that Christopoulou filed a new lawsuit at the Athens Single-Member Court of First Instance, seeking over 150,000 euros in unpaid commissions. The manager alleges that these fees are owed for television deals she secured for Papageorgiou during their previous professional partnership.
This lawsuit adds to the complex legal history between the two parties, who have been engaged in multiple disputes regarding financial settlements. Furthermore, Papageorgiou is currently facing a criminal prosecution for defamation, initiated by a complaint from Christopoulou. This criminal case, which stems from comments made by the model during a televised interview with Grigoris Arnaoutoglou, is scheduled to be heard in court in November 2027 following the conclusion of a preliminary investigation.
