New lawsuit filed in the legal dispute between Elena Christopoulou and Iliana Papageorgiou
Manager Elena Christopoulou has filed a new lawsuit against former associate Iliana Papageorgiou at the Athens Single-Member Court of First Instance. The legal action involves a claim exceeding 150,000 euros, which Christopoulou asserts covers unpaid fees from television contracts secured during their previous professional partnership. This development follows a long-standing series of legal disagreements between the two women that have spanned approximately two years.
Beyond this civil lawsuit, Papageorgiou faces a separate criminal prosecution for defamation, initiated by a complaint from Christopoulou regarding comments made during an interview with presenter Grigoris Arnaoutoglou. That criminal case is scheduled for trial in November of next year. While media reports confirm the filing of the new civil lawsuit, Papageorgiou has publicly stated that she has not yet received formal notice regarding this specific action and intends to investigate the matter through legal channels before responding further.
