Ayia Napa municipality signs road design contract for Sotira

The Municipality of Ayia Napa has officially signed a contract to conduct topographical and altitudinal surveys, as well as to prepare a new zoning plan for the road network within the Sotira municipal district. The agreement, which marks a significant step in the area's urban development, was formalized following the conclusion of tender procedure number 37/2026.

The contract was awarded to the consulting firm Eupalinos Meletitiki LLC. The total value of the project is set at €21,700, excluding value-added tax. The agreement was signed by the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Christos Zannettou. According to the official announcement, the survey and design work is scheduled to be completed within ten weeks from the project's start date.

This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Municipality of Ayia Napa to improve municipal infrastructure and implement more structured urban planning. The project focuses specifically on enhancing the functionality and organization of the road network in the Sotira district, setting the stage for future improvements in local transit and urban layout.
