Restoration of Yeroskipou coastal cycle path commences

Restoration work on the coastal cycle path along Aphrodite Avenue in Yeroskipou officially began on October 22, 2026. Mayor Nikos Palios announced the project, which is valued at €108,452.50 plus VAT. The initiative is part of a broader municipal strategy to upgrade public infrastructure and enhance facilities within the Yeroskipou tourist area.

This cycle path renovation follows a previous agreement signed by Mayor Palios in May 2026, which focuses on the second phase of the Yeroskipou coastal walkway. That larger contract, valued at €1,081,545 plus VAT, encompasses the renovation of the walkway segment between the Phaethon hotel and the Athena Royal hotel. Construction on the coastal walkway is expected to be completed within a timeframe of approximately seven months.
