Cypriot Defense Minister visits Thessaloniki for national anniversary celebrations

Cypriot Defense Minister Vassilis Palmas is visiting Thessaloniki, Greece, to participate in the commemorations marking the city’s liberation and the national anniversary of October 28, 1940. The visit follows an official invitation extended by the Greek Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias.

On October 26, Minister Palmas is scheduled to attend a commemorative event hosted at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The itinerary culminates on October 28, when he will observe the official military parade held in the city. During his stay, the Cypriot minister will also hold a private, bilateral meeting with his Greek counterpart, Nikos Dendias, to discuss matters of mutual interest.
