Aris Limassol spokesperson reflects on recent victory against AEL

On October 26, 2026, Costas Papadopoulos, spokesperson for Aris Limassol, discussed the team's recent performance on the Supersport 104 radio show "Dodeka sta Spor." Following their victory against the then-league leader AEL, Papadopoulos emphasized that the team is focused on achieving its internal goals rather than sending messages to rivals. He characterized the match as a significant challenge played in a hostile environment, noting that the victory was essential for the players' morale and confidence.

Addressing the team's recent progress, Papadopoulos noted that the squad is becoming more stable and cohesive with each passing game. While acknowledging that early results were not indicative of the team's true quality, he stressed that patience was required for the roster to gain experience and gel properly. He highlighted the importance of scoring early goals in securing positive outcomes. Aris intends to maintain this upward momentum as the season progresses, focusing on sustained consistency to ensure they remain competitive against strong opponents.
