Road maintenance and irrigation works scheduled on Larnaca district highways

Public road maintenance and irrigation works are scheduled across several highways in the Larnaca district of Cyprus through October 29, 2026. These activities are necessary for the upkeep of roadside infrastructure and pavement surfaces.

Irrigation works on the embankments of the Larnaca Airport – Paralimni, Larnaca – Nicosia, and Kofinou – Larnaca highways are occurring from October 15 to October 29, 2026. These operations take place daily from 08:30 to 14:30, excluding weekends, Fridays, and public holidays. During these times, a 300-meter segment of the road shoulder will be closed, though traffic will continue to flow normally.

Additionally, pavement maintenance is scheduled for the Larnaca – Kofinou highway between the Alethriko and Klavdia junctions. This work will be conducted at night, between 20:00 and 05:30 the following morning, starting October 26 and concluding on October 29, 2026, excluding public holidays. Motorists are advised to observe all temporary signage in the work zones.
