Cyprus Chamber of Commerce to host workshop on green skills education
The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve), in collaboration with the University of Limassol, will hold an online workshop titled "Green skills: from needs analysis to integration into education and training" on November 12, 2026. The event is scheduled to take place from 10:00 to 11:00 via Microsoft Teams and will be conducted in Greek.
The workshop aims to address the current gap in professional qualifications required for the green transition in Cyprus. Participants will examine key findings from research conducted by the SUSTAINET project, which is funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme. The primary goal is to identify specific labor market needs and discuss strategies to incorporate these skills into academic and vocational training curricula to better align education with the demands of modern businesses and society.
Registration for the free event is open until November 10, 2026. The session is designed to foster interactive dialogue, allowing stakeholders to exchange views on developing targeted educational initiatives and overcoming challenges related to the shift toward a more sustainable economy.
