Two separate robberies of food delivery workers in Limassol

Two separate robberies targeting 22-year-old food delivery workers occurred in Limassol over consecutive nights this week. The first incident took place at 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday on 28th October Street, where two suspects on a motorcycle blocked a delivery worker and stole his wallet before fleeing. The victim filed an official complaint with the local Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at 2:30 a.m.

A second, similar robbery was reported early Wednesday at approximately 3:00 a.m. on Agias Fylaxeos Street. In this instance, four individuals riding two black motorcycles approached a 22-year-old delivery worker, who was operating a bicycle at the time. One of the suspects physically assaulted the victim by striking him in the head, but he remained uninjured due to his protective helmet. The assailants stole the victim’s wallet and escaped in an unknown direction.

Limassol’s CID is investigating both incidents, which have raised concerns regarding the safety of delivery personnel during late-night shifts in the city. Authorities are currently searching for the perpetrators in both cases as investigations remain ongoing.
