Evandro Costa reaches 100 appearances for Omonia

Brazilian midfielder Evandro Costa has officially reached a milestone of 100 appearances for Omonia. The 30-year-old player achieved this landmark during Omonia's 2-0 defeat to AEK on October 26, 2026, in the seventh round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan.

Costa joined the team in July 2024, transferring from the Bulgarian club Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Throughout his tenure with the Nicosia-based side, currently managed by Henning Berg, he has become an integral part of the attacking lineup. His contribution includes 21 goals and 27 assists across all competitions. Notably, he played a crucial role in the club's successful campaign to win the league title last season.
