Cyprus police issue wanted notice for 40-year-old Nigerian national

Cypriot authorities have officially declared 40-year-old Nweke Sunday Obinna, a national of Nigeria, a wanted person. The announcement was made on October 29, 2026, as part of an ongoing investigation into several serious criminal activities within the Republic of Cyprus.

Law enforcement officials are seeking Obinna in connection with a multifaceted case involving charges of conspiracy to commit a felony, illegal drug possession, possession of controlled substances with the intent to supply, and money laundering. Additionally, the suspect is being investigated for the offense of illegal residence within the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.
