Over 23,000 large families seek support – Their demands presented to the President

The Pancyprian Organization of Large Families held a meeting with the President of Cyprus to address the erosion of state support since 2012, affecting over 23,000 households. The organization requested the restoration of child benefits, student grants, and other allowances to combat the demographic crisis and financial hardships. Government officials promised to evaluate the costs of these proposals and continue social welfare initiatives. The organization emphasized that current support levels in Cyprus remain significantly lower than the European average.
