Reunification message from the Interior Minister at the Akanthou and Neo Irakleio twinning ceremony

Interior Minister Constantinos Ioannou reaffirmed the commitment to the liberation and reunification of Cyprus during a twinning ceremony between the occupied Municipality of Akanthou and the Municipality of Neo Irakleio in Attica. The event, held at the Chrysosotira chapel in Oroklini, emphasized maintaining historical memory. Meanwhile, Akanthou Mayor Eleni Chatzimichael called for equal rights for all refugees and urged for stronger measures against the illegal usurpation of Greek Cypriot properties in the occupied areas.
