Olympiacos faces Karmiotissa with significant squad absences

Olympiacos is set to face Karmiotissa at the Stelios Kyriakides stadium on October 30, 2026, as the team looks to secure its first victory of the championship season. Currently, the club holds a record of six draws and one defeat, prompting coach Giorgos Kostis to address critical defensive errors and the need for improved efficiency in the final third.

The team is grappling with five confirmed absences for the match. These include Okkas, who recently underwent surgery, Pedro Sancho, who is sidelined for the remainder of the season, and Sapinen, who is nursing an injury. Furthermore, Henrique is unavailable due to a disciplinary card suspension, and Nailson Rosa remains out with a muscle strain. The participation of Bruno Paz remains uncertain, with his status expected to be determined shortly before kick-off.

These lineup challenges complicate the club's efforts to break their winless streak. The management has prioritized strengthening both the defensive structure and the attack to move past the recurring issues that have plagued their performance throughout the current campaign.
