Apollon Limassol warns fans ahead of high-stakes clash against Pafos FC

Apollon Limassol hosts Pafos FC today, October 31, 2026, at the Alphamega Stadium for the 8th round of the Cyprus League. Ahead of this critical match, the Apollon administration has issued a strict warning to its supporters, demanding zero tolerance for racist behavior, offensive chants, or gestures. The club management emphasized that any misconduct could lead to severe disciplinary, financial, and sporting consequences, including potential point deductions or stadium bans, noting that the team is already under observation for previous infractions.

Regarding the squad's readiness, coach Hernan Losada confirmed the return of players Asuncao and Veisbeck, while Danilo, Andreou, and Spoljaric remain sidelined. A significant blow for Apollon is the confirmed absence of forward Gary Rodrigues, who sustained an injury in the previous match against Karmiotissa. The team enters the fixture with strong momentum, having secured three consecutive wins, and aims to capitalize on home advantage to climb further in the standings. Following their defeat in the last season's Cup final against the same opponent, Apollon views this game as an opportunity for an informal revenge and a chance to assert their championship ambitions.
