New theatrical production of Jack and the Beanstalk premieres in November

A new stage production of the classic fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk," directed and adapted by Loris Loizidis, is set to premiere on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The performance will debut at the Municipal Theatre of Latsia and will subsequently tour across various cities. Produced by Alpha, the show integrates live acting with interactive animations, creating a visual experience where performers interact with digital graphics to blend reality and fantasy.

The narrative follows the story of Jack, who exchanges his cow for magic beans, leading to an adventure involving a giant beanstalk reaching the sky. The production features original music and songs written specifically for the show, aiming to provide an immersive experience for families.

To promote the upcoming tour, a promotional event will be held at the Mall of Cyprus on Saturday, November 7, from 12:00 to 14:00. This live link event, hosted by Alpha Radio and Marinos Konsolos, will offer the public an opportunity to meet director Loris Loizidis and the show's cast members ahead of the official premiere.
