Nikos Karvelas prepares new musical collaboration with Lefteris Pantazis

Composer Nikos Karvelas is set to return to the music scene with a new project, as announced by singer Lefteris Pantazis on the television show "To Proino" on October 30, 2026. Pantazis revealed that he is recording a new song written by Karvelas, which will serve as a lead-up to a full album featuring ten original tracks. This collaboration marks a reunion for the two artists, who last worked together nearly three decades ago, having previously produced three albums.

This announcement arrives amid ongoing public speculation regarding the professional relationship between Nikos Karvelas and Anna Vissi. Reports from AlphaNews and other sources indicate that the duo is currently experiencing tensions related to financial disputes and copyright management, which have cast a shadow over their long-standing partnership.

Pantazis noted that he secured the rights to the new material as early as this past summer. While Karvelas continues to focus on new creative ventures, the industry remains attentive to how the unresolved financial and legal issues concerning his past collaborations with Vissi will be addressed in the future.
