Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center concludes breast cancer awareness month initiatives
The Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center concluded its breast cancer awareness activities on October 30, 2026, marking the end of the global awareness month dedicated to the disease. The center organized two primary initiatives: the digital campaign titled “For me, pink means…” and the “Wall of Hope,” both designed to encourage public participation and stress the critical importance of early diagnosis and prevention.
The initiatives featured the contributions of 31 employees from various medical and administrative specialties, alongside numerous patients and visitors. Participants shared messages of support and hope, aiming to foster a broader societal dialogue regarding the needs of those affected by breast cancer. The project served as a platform for the center to demonstrate its ongoing commitment to public health, advocacy, and clinical support.
By engaging the community through these interactive efforts, the Oncology Center highlighted the power of collective action in promoting health education. The events succeeded in disseminating vital information on cancer prevention and reaffirming the center’s role as an active participant in addressing public health challenges within the community.
