Yianis Christodoulou Foundation celebrates its 10th anniversary in Nicosia
On Thursday, October 29, 2026, the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation (YCF) held a celebratory event at the Tassos Papadopoulos-Eleftheria Stadium in Nicosia to mark its 10th anniversary. The event attracted over 5,000 attendees, including government officials, political party leaders, and business representatives, to recognize the organization's decade of charitable work in Cyprus.
Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos praised the foundation’s silent contribution to children and vulnerable groups, highlighting the founder John Christodoulou’s journey from humble beginnings to significant philanthropic efforts. During his speech, John Christodoulou emphasized the importance of supporting families and providing children with the necessary tools for their future success, framing the location of the event as symbolic of the freedom he wishes to promote for the youth.
Established ten years ago, the YCF has consistently focused on supporting children and young people across Cyprus. The anniversary gathering served both as a celebration of past achievements and a public reaffirmation of the foundation's ongoing commitment to social welfare and educational support for the next generation.
