Security measures and logistics for upcoming Cypriot football matches

Cypriot authorities and football clubs have announced specific security measures for two upcoming football matches. For the match between Omonia Nicosia and AEL Limassol, scheduled for October 31, 2026, at 19:00 at the GSP Stadium, gates will open at 17:00. Fans are advised to arrive at least one hour early to avoid delays. Supporters of Omonia will occupy the west, north, and east stands, and are instructed to approach via Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue.

Separately, Omonia 29is Maiou has detailed arrangements for their match against Nea Salamina. In this encounter, home fans will occupy the east and west stands, while Nea Salamina fans will be allocated 300 tickets, representing 10% of the stadium's capacity, designated for high-risk categorization. Supporters are urged to arrive before 16:00 to avoid congestion, with specific parking zones assigned near the fire station for home fans and the local elementary school for away supporters. Electronic ticket purchase is strongly recommended to minimize overcrowding at the venues.
