President Christodoulides approves new infrastructure projects for Farmakas community
President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides has pledged support for new infrastructure projects in the Farmakas community. During the inauguration of a local renovation project, the President announced plans for the construction of an amphitheater, the paving of the road connecting Farmakas to Apliki, and the implementation of a modern biological sewage treatment system. These initiatives are designed to bolster local development, following a reported population increase to 440 residents.
The President specifically addressed the amphitheater project, directing that the feasibility study be completed swiftly to allow for its inclusion in the co-funded projects list, which the Council of Ministers is scheduled to decide upon in September 2027. The government's commitment follows the recent completion of a €1.5 million renovation of the village's traditional core, which officials claim has significantly enhanced the community's quality of life.
