Upcoming theatrical performances at Anemona Theatre and National Theatre Live

The Anemona Theatre and the National Theatre Live program have announced upcoming performances in Limassol. On Wednesday, November 4, at 20:30, the Anemona Theatre will present 'Babies are Delivered by the Stork', a play by Michalis Reppas and Thanasis Papathanasiou. Directed by Marinos Xenofontos, the story is set in German-occupied Thessaloniki in 1943. It centers on two childless couples struggling to survive who choose to shelter a Jewish escapee from Auschwitz, blending comedy and drama to explore themes of human solidarity. The production features actors Irini Konstantinou, Giannis Kokkinos, Christopher Greco, Elena Chileti, Gianna Lefkati, Angelos Chatzimichael, and Nikolas Arkadiou, with tickets priced at €18, €12, and €8.

On Friday, November 6, at 20:30, National Theatre Live will screen a recording of the London West End production 'The Fifth Step' by David Ireland. Directed by Finn den Hertog, this 80-minute performance explores the delicate friendship between James, a long-time member of Alcoholics Anonymous, and his newcomer sponsee, Luka. As the pair progresses through the 12-step program, the impending moment of confession threatens to expose dangerous truths, jeopardizing their mutual recovery. The production is rated for audiences aged 16 and older.
