APOEL celebrates centenary with special match and commemorative events

APOEL Nicosia is preparing for a landmark event as the club celebrates its 100th anniversary on Sunday, November 8, 2026. During the 9th round of the Cyprus League, APOEL will host Aris Limassol at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia at 19:00. To encourage high attendance for this historic occasion, the club has reduced ticket prices and waived the 25-euro 'Club Friend Card' fee for fans purchasing tickets for the first time this season. Interest in the match is high, with the Southern stand and the lower section of the Western stand already sold out.

Following the final whistle, the club will host a grand celebratory event featuring an award ceremony for key historical figures, including former coach Ivan Jovanović, who is recognized for leading the team to the Champions League quarter-finals. The festivities will also include an impressive show with 500 drones, special effects, and a tribute to the team’s history, present, and future. Aris Limassol fans have been allocated the North stand, with tickets being sold through the guest club's channels.
