Olympiada Neapolis faces Dinamo Zagreb in the CEV Challenge Cup
The Cypriot women's volleyball team, Olympiada Neapolis, is set to compete against the Croatian club OK Dinamo Zagreb in the round of 64 of the CEV Challenge Cup. Both matches will be held at the Tassos Papadopoulos-Eleftheria stadium in Nicosia. The first leg is scheduled for November 3 at 18:00, with the return leg following on November 4 at 20:00. Although OK Dinamo Zagreb is technically the host for the first match, the team will play both games on neutral ground in Cyprus.
Olympiada Neapolis, the defending Cypriot champion, enters this European competition with a renewed, younger roster and a reduced budget compared to previous seasons. The team recently demonstrated its competitive form during the Allwyn Super Cup, despite a narrow 2-3 set loss to RoboMarkets AEL. OK Dinamo Zagreb, which claimed the Croatian championship title in 2025 and finished second last season, features a squad composed largely of players from Croatian development national teams.
The winner of this double-header will advance to the next stage of the tournament, where they are set to face the German club Munster.
