Elderly man a potential victim of human trafficking: Authorities raided a farm, serious crimes under investigation

Authorities in Nicosia have arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of labor exploitation and making threats. The operation followed reports regarding a 73-year-old man working at a local farm, who is now being treated as a potential victim of human trafficking. During a court-sanctioned search of the premises, evidence was collected, and a judge has ordered the suspect to remain in custody for six days as the Anti-Trafficking Bureau continues its investigation.
