Cyprus Foreign Minister meets new Swedish Ambassador

Cyprus Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos, held a formal meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Sweden to Cyprus, Henrik Cederin, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in Nicosia. The primary focus of the discussion was to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.

In addition to bilateral cooperation, the officials engaged in a constructive dialogue regarding current European Union matters and regional geopolitical issues. Minister Kombos highlighted the historical ties between the two countries, noting that the year 2027 will mark the centenary of the Swedish Archaeological Expedition to Cyprus.
