Olympiacos faces Rennes in Europa League match

Olympiacos faces Rennes at Roazhon Park on November 4, 2026, in the fourth round of the Europa League League Phase. The Greek club, managed by Imanol Alguacil, aims to extend their winning streak to 4/4 in the competition, having previously secured victories against Jagiellonia, Marseille, and Sparta Prague. The team enters this match riding a nine-game winning streak across all competitions.

Rennes will play without their top scorer, Esteban Lepol, who remains sidelined due to an ankle injury sustained on October 18. Despite Rennes' recent domestic struggles, including a 5-2 loss to Nice, they remain unbeaten in European competition. The home side currently sits in 13th place in the standings following a 2-2 draw with Juventus, while Olympiacos holds fifth place.

Manager Alguacil has confirmed the starting lineup for the match, featuring Ortega in goal, a defensive line consisting of Saliakas, Retsos, Carmo, and Bruno, with Ese and Puerta in midfield, and Gonzalez leading the attack. Both teams are looking to solidify their positions to secure an automatic spot in the round of 16.
