AEL Limassol seeks to bounce back in Cyprus League match against Krasava ENY

AEL Limassol hosts Krasava ENY today, November 7, 2026, at the Alphamega Stadium for the ninth round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan. Following two consecutive league defeats against Aris and Omonoia, the team managed by Hugo Martins is under pressure to secure a victory to remain in contention for the top spots. The club recently advanced to the next round of the Coca-Cola Cup after a narrow 2-1 win against Iraklis Gerolakkou, a performance that drew mixed feedback from the manager regarding the team's energy and offensive efficiency.

For today’s match, coach Hugo Martins has made three changes to his starting lineup compared to the previous league game, introducing Karos, Sing, and Paroutis to the field. The squad must manage several absences, including Denswil, Kafou, and Antoniou, while Jevtic remains a doubt due to lingering discomfort. On the other side, Guillermo Fernandez Romo’s Krasava ENY enters the match showing signs of improvement after a recent 2-2 draw with AEK, though they face significant squad challenges with Bahasa and Camus suspended. AEL aims for three points to improve their fourth-place standing before the upcoming international break.
