Ukrainian drone strikes target Ozon logistics center and Ryazan oil refinery
During the first week of November 2026, Russia experienced a series of drone attacks targeting major industrial and commercial infrastructure. On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, a logistics center belonging to the e-commerce giant Ozon in Adygeysk, within the Krasnodar region, was struck by Ukrainian drones, resulting in a fire. While Ozon reported no personnel injuries, the company announced the cancellation of pending orders and the removal of goods from the site. Kyiv has repeatedly targeted Ozon facilities, citing allegations that the firm supplies the Russian military.
Separately, on Thursday, local authorities in the Ryazan region confirmed fires at industrial facilities following a massive attack involving over 200 drones. Analysis of social media footage verified by Reuters suggests the target included one of Russia's largest oil refineries, located in the local industrial zone. Officials confirmed one injury but provided limited details regarding the extent of the damage to the refinery. These strikes follow a pattern of intensified aerial operations against Russian commercial and energy infrastructure, which has caused billions of dollars in reported damages over recent months.
