Limassol municipality announces 2027 carnival parade registration details

The Municipality of Limassol has announced the registration process for the 2027 Carnival parade, which will open on November 17, 2026. Interested groups and float owners must apply in person at the Cultural Services offices located at 253 Agiou Andreou Street to complete the necessary documentation and review the current regulations. Applications will not be accepted via phone or electronic means.

The application process is staggered based on previous participation records. On the opening day, November 17, registration is reserved exclusively for participants of the 2026 parade who complied with all regulations. From November 18, applications will be open to new participants and those who violated rules during the previous event. The submission period closes on Friday, December 18, 2026, at 13:00.

Furthermore, the municipality has updated its entry standards, explicitly stating that costumes consisting solely of simple sports shorts and shirts will not be accepted as valid themes for the parade.
