Ammochostos delegation promotes tourism at WTM 2026 in London

Representatives from the Ammochostos region are participating in the World Travel Market (WTM 2026) in London, held from November 3 to November 5, 2026. The primary objective of the mission is to strengthen ties with the British tourism market, which is a key source for the region, and to discuss strategies for extending the tourist season throughout the year.

The delegation includes Deputy Mayor of Paralimni Kleanthis Koutsoftas, Deputy Mayor of Ayia Napa Antonis Christou, PASYXE Ammochostos President and ETAP Vice President Panagiotis Konstantinou, and ETAP Director Giorgos Kafkalias, alongside representatives from numerous hotel businesses in Ayia Napa and Protaras. The group is currently holding meetings with major tour operators, airlines, and special interest tourism stakeholders.

Discussions during the event involve a review of the 2026 tourist season performance and negotiations regarding flight schedules and bookings for 2027. These efforts aim to secure favorable conditions and increased visitor numbers for the upcoming year by establishing early foundations for future travel programs.
