Edek condemns the meeting of Holguin with the so-called ambassador in the occupied territories (video)

EDEK party official Yiannis Anastasiou has strongly criticized the meeting between UN personal envoy Maria Angela Holguin and the Turkish representative in occupied Cyprus. The party argues that meeting at the so-called embassy building violates UN Security Council resolutions 541 and 550. Furthermore, EDEK expressed outrage over Holguin referring to the Republic of Cyprus as the south, insisting it remains the only legitimate state on the island. The government has been urged to lodge an official protest with the UN.
