Pafos FC faces Twente in the Conference League

Pafos FC travels to Enschede to face Dutch side Twente at the De Grolsch Veste stadium on November 5 at 22:00 for the third round of the Conference League's League Phase. The Cypriot team, currently 27th in the standings with one point from two matches, enters the game looking to end a five-game winless streak across all competitions. Head coach Ricardo Sa Pinto has acknowledged that Twente is the clear favorite, noting that even a draw would be considered a positive result for his squad.

The Pafos team faces significant roster challenges, with Goldar, Engameleou, Pepe, and Biel missing from the squad due to injuries, while Mammadov, Zage, Noro, and Patrao are omitted from the club's European list. In contrast, Twente enters the match in strong form, sitting 6th in the competition standings after a series of high-scoring performances. The coaching staff has emphasized the necessity of disciplined tactical execution to neutralize the Dutch side's potent offensive threat, which has produced 28 goals recently.
