Authorities arrest 28 individuals in major drug trafficking operation

On November 5, 2026, law enforcement authorities announced the arrest of 28 individuals in connection with a large-scale drug trafficking investigation. The operation resulted in the seizure of 233.5 kilograms of narcotics, marking a significant strike against organized crime.

The group of detainees includes both current and former prison inmates, as well as five convicts and five defendants who were awaiting trial for other charges.
