Olympiacos leadership inspects ongoing renovations at Peace and Friendship Stadium

On November 4, 2026, Olympiacos BC owners Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos, accompanied by head coach Giorgos Bartzokas, visited the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) to inspect the progress of the ongoing private reconstruction project. The group toured the arena floor to assess the current state of the facility as it undergoes significant structural and technological updates.

During a subsequent media appearance, coach Bartzokas expressed enthusiasm for the project, describing the future arena as a modern, basketball-specific facility. He noted that the renovation will feature the addition of new seating tiers, the installation of luxury suites, and state-of-the-art technological upgrades to improve sightlines and the overall fan experience. Bartzokas emphasized that the transformation is highly significant for the club, comparing the importance of the project to winning a major championship.

Olympiacos BC has announced that they plan to release the official architectural renderings of the renovated stadium in the coming days. While no specific completion date for the construction has been finalized, the club remains focused on transitioning into the updated venue as soon as the work allows.
