Educators trained for the sixth cycle of the mind REset program in Cyprus
Lidl Cyprus recently hosted a training session at the Lidl Food Academy for 77 educators participating in the sixth cycle of the mind REset educational program. The initiative, aimed at fostering environmental awareness and reducing food waste among youth, brought together teachers from 41 primary schools and 36 gymnasiums across the country.
The program is implemented in collaboration with Junior Achievement Cyprus, with the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth serving as an institutional partner. Additionally, the initiative is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment. During the session, educators were provided with the necessary methodology and materials to act as mentors for students, guiding them through a creative process focused on sustainability, entrepreneurship, and responsible thinking.
Now in its sixth consecutive year, the mind REset program continues to empower children to address sustainability challenges. By equipping teachers with tools to promote innovative habits, the organizers aim to cultivate long-term responsible behavior regarding food consumption and environmental preservation.
