AEK Larnaca faces Karmiotissa in Cyprus League match

AEK Larnaca hosts Karmiotissa tonight, November 6, 2026, at 19:00 at the AEK Arena in the context of the 9th round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan. Following a disappointing draw against Krasava ENY, the home team, coached by Ruben Selles, aims to secure a victory to maintain its position at the top of the league table before the upcoming international break. The match is viewed as critical for the team to regain momentum and satisfy expectations from supporters.

Regarding the squad, Ruben Selles will be without the injured Jan Repas, while players Miramon and Kohler remain available for this match despite having accumulated enough cards to trigger a suspension for the following round against Olympiakos. Conversely, Karmiotissa arrives in Larnaca with increased confidence following a recent league win and progress in the national cup, aiming to pull away from the bottom of the standings. Defensive resilience has been a hallmark of Karmiotissa's recent performances, with the team keeping clean sheets in its last two outings.
