Lexus Cycling Dream Team kicks off 2026 charity ride

On Friday morning, November 6, 2026, the Lexus Cycling Dream Team departed from the Cyprus Red Cross headquarters in Strovolos to begin the 'Love Race 2026'. The cyclists are undertaking a challenging 165-kilometer off-road journey to the Stella Soulioti Children's Therapeutic Centre in Limassol. Prior to their departure, the team members planted an olive tree at the Red Cross building as a symbolic gesture of hope and solidarity.

This event marks the fifth consecutive year of the initiative, which aims to raise funds for upgrading the facilities and services at the Stella Soulioti Centre, a facility providing specialized therapy for individuals up to 22 years old. Organizers stated that all participants cover their own expenses, ensuring that all proceeds go directly to the cause. Over the past four years, the initiative has successfully raised more than €80,000.

The cyclists are scheduled to arrive in Limassol on Saturday, November 7, at 15:45. A welcoming ceremony and a 'Children Fun Day' event are planned at the finish line between 15:00 and 18:00.
