Pathkia Pathkia festival returns to Pervolia and Kiti
The Pathkia Pathkia festival returns on November 7 and 8, 2026, offering a two-day program of cultural activities in the areas of Pervolia and Kiti. The event is open to the public with free admission and aims to highlight the historical and cultural heritage of the region through performances, thematic walks, storytelling, theater, cinema, music, games, and creative workshops. The festival serves to connect local historical memory with contemporary artistic expression and active community participation.
The initiative was formed by the Pathkia Pathkia group, which originated from the co-creation process of Larnaca 2030. This project brings together individuals raised in the newly established Municipality of Dromolaxia-Meneou to exchange personal experiences and local history. Prior to this event, the group conducted five thematic walks between November 2024 and November 2025 across Pervolia, Kiti, Dromolaxia, Meneou, and Tersefanou, utilizing residents' testimonies as a foundation for cultural development.
