Guinness world record holder has accident during live TV interview
On Friday morning, November 6, 2026, the Cypriot television show "Alpha Enimerosi" hosted Aristotelis Valaoritis, a dancer known for holding a Guinness World Record by balancing 511 glasses on his head. During the live broadcast, Valaoritis attempted to demonstrate his skills by balancing various objects, including glassware and a grill ("foukou"), on his head.
The demonstration faced an unexpected setback when the performer lost his balance, causing the objects to crash to the floor of the studio. The incident visibly startled the program's host, Katia Savva. Despite the initial failure and the resulting mess, the presenter remained composed and encouraged the performer to make a second attempt. Valaoritis proceeded to retry the feat immediately, ultimately succeeding in balancing the items, which delighted the studio audience and the viewers watching at home.
