TEPAK student volunteer group organizes sustainable fashion show
The Student Volunteer Group of the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) is hosting its inaugural fashion event, titled "1st CUT Student Fashion Show – A second chance, a more sustainable tomorrow." The exhibition is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 8, at 19:00, within the Amphitheaters 1 and 2 of the Tassos Papadopoulos building, located on Themidos Street in Limassol.
During the event, university students will showcase original garments crafted entirely from reused materials and discarded clothing items. The primary objective of this initiative is to highlight the importance of sustainable fashion practices and promote environmental consciousness among the academic community. By breathing new life into old materials, the organizers aim to convey a message about creating a more sustainable future.
This project serves as a practical demonstration of how individual creativity can contribute to environmental protection and waste reduction. The university encourages members of the public to attend the show to support these student-led efforts toward ecological awareness.
