Photo: Strong winds 'mowed down' EAC pylons

Strong winds in the Larnaca district damaged two high-voltage electricity pylons belonging to the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) on the Dhekelia-Larnaca transmission line. The incident occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Sunday in the Kellia area. Despite the damage, there were no power outages as the EAC successfully activated an alternative supply network.
